2016 Summer Drama Camp: “The Magic in Me”

posted Jul 5, 2016, 10:04 AM by Web Master   [ updated Aug 22, 2016, 11:03 AM ]

“The Magic in Me” was performed by the Summer Drama Camp performers on Friday June 24. The performance included acting, music, “a little magic”, and was enjoyed by family and friends of our drama camp participants.

The PG Summer Drama Camp is a week long gathering of students in grades 4-8 who learn about and participate in the production of a play. They participate in team building activities, crafts, and prepare for the performance of an entertaining play at the end of the week.

In production for 10+ years, teachers Mary O’Leary and Sandra Rosner, with summer assistance from Paulina Levy, make up the PG Drama staff. They have enjoyed a long standing partnership with our students who show an interest in the performing arts and enjoy engaging in new challenges.

The 2016 performance of “The Magic in Me” was another entertaining and enjoyable activity thanks to the interest and dedication of our students and drama department staff.

2016-17 Registration is Now Open!

posted May 13, 2016, 8:25 AM by Web Master   [ updated Aug 17, 2016, 7:59 AM ]

Prairie Grove's 2nd Annual Online Registration window officially opens on May 13th, 2016!

For the second year Prairie Grove parents can register students online for the upcoming (2016-2017) school year. PG is excited to provide this online registration system, which will reduce redundancies for parents with multiple children within the district and remove the headaches that come with multiple paper registration packets.

Our web-based system works in conjunction with district databases, which will remove the need for manual data entry by our secretarial staff. In moving to a paperless registration system the district is working towards the goal of serving as an environmentally responsible organization.

Parents will receive an email from Prairie Grove on May 13, 2016 with a personal SnapCode and directions on how to register!

You can also click THIS LINK or the link on the left-sidebar of the District Website to login to the registration portal.

All registrations are required to be completed by July 15th, 2016.

If you have any questions please contact the District Office!
