On Thursday, September 24th a monetary gift was presented to Prairie Grove School District 46 from the district’s PTO.

In conjunction with the district technology department the group offered to share costs to fund an initiative that will place an interactive presentation device in each classroom in the district. The funds were raised over the past 12 months and were presented to the district by PTO President Sarah Bittner.

Technology Systems Manager Scott Martin explains that the Technology Department will utilize these funds to provide devices to staff that do not currently have interactive presentation capabilities in their classrooms. The devices will be used in conjunction with current infrastructure and staff computers to provide an interactive experience for students in classrooms currently lacking this ability. This gift from the PTO will provide very tangible and valuable benefits to our staff and students.

The Prairie Grove School District 46 staff and administration thanks the dedicated members of the PTO and expresses their gratitude at having a PTO that truly supports our students.
