We now have 7 buses operational. The crux of the problem was that idling the buses as preventive measure was causing parts of the engine to ice up. The engine idling did not allow the motor to blow out the water from some the motor parts. We are now in the process of de-icing all the engines and warming the engines. We are making progress.
I have been in contact with the Superintendent Brian Coleman of Cary 26 and he has generously offered to loan us 2 additional buses that we can use for the end of the week if needed. We have drivers ready to pick them up tomorrow at 5:30 AM.
This means barring additional problems from tonight's low temperatures, all routes should be up and running.
Parents will be notified by 6 AM in the morning IF there are route problems. Once again, thank you!
