Students in grades 4th-8th grade and Mrs. Moon are committed to restoring and maintaining plant areas around our school grounds. We will not only beautify our school grounds but also make connections with nature. This club meets once a month on Wednesdays with some Saturday events too! Students learn about designing, planting, and maintaining gardens along with teamwork as well as having fun outside.
October 18th - Madoli Farm in Woodstock
The Outdoor Garden Club traveled to Madoli Farm in Woodstock where students were greeted by the Roth Family. Students learned the first steps in preparing soil for planting, tilled the grounds for garlic, and harvested the last of the strawberries. It was a beautiful day to learn some of the steps that take place on the farm to bring the food to the table of our homes.
