Seventh graders make art out of Red Bull
Chicago art trip brings out student's creativity
On Wednesday, November 14 art students in 7th Grade, 2nd Quarter had an excellent opportunity to participate in a workshop sponsored by Red Bull in Chicago. They created artworks made completely out of Red Bull cans and then viewed the Art of Can exhibit. This is a traveling exhibit and the first time it has been in Chicago.
PG students were able to work with the artists that took first and second place in the contest while creating their own designs, and document their experiences by photographing and videotaping. The documentation that the PG students captured will be created into a video by Red Bull and then given to PG.
The students were extremely cooperative and enjoyed a fun and exciting day in the city while learning that art can come in many different forms: Even empty cans.
