Hello and Welcome!
The Prairie Grove PTO is dedicated to the enrichment
of our children’s educational experience.
If your child attends Prairie Grove School,
you are automatically a PTO member!
Want to get involved? Don’t have a lot of
time?
No worries we have many opportunities for you to be
involved without taking a lot of time out of your
schedule.
The first step would be to attend a PTO
meeting. We meet once a month in the elementary library (see
PTO Calendar). Come to meet your PTO board members and find
out what
is happening at the school from the principals. This is the
best place to get knowledge about our activities and the
school.
Volunteering your time and energy ensures the
success
of the many family/school events and services
sponsored by the PTO.
TAP – Teacher Assistance Program is a great way
to
volunteer time during the day while the children are in
school. Volunteers help with tasks like photocopying,
laminating, bulletin boards etc.
Your participation in the PTO’s fundraising
efforts provides
the resources for these fun events and services.
Fundraising also allows for special projects,
additional programs, equipment and materials used by Prairie Grove
students and faculty. In the past, the PTO has purchased
library books, band instruments, classroom amplification systems,
computers, stage lights, sound equipment,
athletic team uniforms, playground equipment and provided money to
teachers for use in their classrooms.
