Prairie Grove celebrates Fine Arts Week - March 15-19th

*The following Prairie Grove student-artists will have their work appearing at the Little Women's event!...

This past week we had thirty-four girls from Prairie Grove School submit artwork into the 14th Annual Little Women’s Works.  The girls were from grades 2nd – 8th.  

The students that submitted pieces were Olivia Jensen, Rachel Brucki, Anita Venkataswamy, Deanna Grelecki, Ashtynn Trauth, Gabby Hart, Jessica Caravello, Ari Raemont, Victoria Colthurst, Brianna Berillo, Beth Howie, Meghan Maglente, Nina Horabik, Vanessa Garcia, Peri Sindberg, Michelle Wasilewski, Sarah Jaenkins, Alex Barker, Lauren Brown, Rachel Cantin, Emilee Covers, Catalina Cano, Sarah Salvatore, Lauren Pokonosky, Cora Knochel, Ally Hendrikon, Amelia Jensen, Emily Jepsen, Devyn Blackmore, Haley Barnes, Samantha Barnes, Stefie Frye, Kelsey Turskey, and Abby Zuniga.  

The girls submitted paintings, oil pastel drawings, charcoal drawings, clay sculptures, found object art and many more medias.

This Fine Arts Exhibition of work is for girls 6-17 years old, sponsored by the Northwest Area Arts Council.  The show runs March 4th – May 2nd at the Old Courthouse Arts Center on the Woodstock Square.  Prairie Grove students have been active participants for numerous years now, but this is the greatest submission of work we have ever had!
