Welcome to 8th Grade Science! This year students will be studying matter and how it changes. In order to make it a successful year, students need to study on a regular basis and be prepared for class. After participating in class and studying, students who feel the need for additional help are strongly encouraged to seek out the teacher. I will be more then happy to work with them. Students will be going through an orientation of 8th Grade science the first few days of school. This will include curriculum, behavior/academic expectations, and the safety contract. Students will need to have a copy of the contract signed by both a parent or guardian and the student prior to participating in any lab activities. Safety procedures will be gone over in class prior to having the contract signed.
