Welcome Parents, Students and Families!
Week of : 11/3-- 11/7
Monday 11/3-- Chapter 6 & 7 for "Number the Stars" will be assigned for homework. Students started working on their "Early Explorers" Report. All research will be done in class. The paper will be due on Monday, November 17th.
Tuesday 11/4-- We will be writing our friendly letters just in time for Veteran's Day next week! Please read chapters 9 & 10 from our "Number the Stars" novel.

Friday 11/7-- 1st quarter Report cards will be issued today!

Upcoming Field Trips and Activities
Pumpkin Day is a fun fifth grade event. Students will be participating in various activities using their pumpkins. Pumpkin Day will take place on Friday, October 31st. Parents if you are interested in participating, please contact me!
Our Rush to Read Program has begun! If students read four books and complete four written book reports, they will receive two tickets to a Chicago Rush football game!
