Fine Arts

Prairie Grove Elementary believes that each student has different gifts to offer to us and to society. In order to prepare each student for the real world and find their passion in life, we offer an excellent curriculum in the Fine Arts. We also are lucky enough to have a Science Lab that all students receive instruction in once per week. Each grade level receives instruction in P.E., Music, and Art for one hour per week. Students learn computer skills in one of our two computer labs once per week. Library instruction is integrated into our curriculum as well. Students have a dedicated time once per week.
Fourth and Fifth grade students have the ability to join Band, which has a Beginning and a Cadet Band for those grade levels. Prairie Grove Bands are consistently at the top of other County school bands.
The Panther Fine Arts Department is top of the line. Teachers are passionate about student learning and promote student success. The Fine Arts Week, as well as Fine Arts Night, are two events which showcase student and staff talents. Once these dates are posted, please see our finest!
