Monday, March 8 - Friday, March 12, 2010
This week in Language Arts, students will be introduced to our new Expository Writing Unit. We will focus on writing a Complex Process Essay and delivering a How To Speech during this unit. Students will utilize the writing and speaking skills they have acquired this year as they inform us of their topics of interest.
This week in Literature, students will conclude their study of The Watson's Go To Birmingham, 1963. Their Final is on Wednesday, March 10. The students have done a wonderful job during our novel study. We will culminate our experience by watching "Remember the Titans", an awesome movie that very eloquently portrays the themes from our novel.
