Prairie Grove Elementary School incorporates positive behavioral interventions through R.O.A.R. whenever possible to further the success of our students.
R.O.A.R. stands for:
R = Respect
O = Ownership
A = Attitude
R = Responsibility
Each principle and its pledge is displayed in each classroom in the building.
| Respect Pledge | Ownership Pledge |
| Attitude Pledge | Responsibility Pledge |
Our school makes it a priority to find students using these principles to better themselves and the Prairie Grove Community. Students receive R.O.A.R. coupons for behavior that is exemplary in the four areas.

Once a student receives a R.O.A.R. Coupon, their name is announced on the morning announcements the following morning.
Each month, the names of all of the R.O.A.R. recipients are displayed on our Wall of Fame.
Behavioral Consequences
Prairie Grove students are expected to follow our R.O.A.R. rules which are stated in the matrix below.

When students don't meet the expectations on our matrix, they may have a disciplinary consequence such as missing a morning/afternoon recess, serving a lunch detention, being suspended, or expelled. Please refer to the Parent Student Handbook for further details about District and School Policy.
