Yesterday, we had a chance to partner with "Girls Who Lead", a program at Prairie Ridge that is focused on empowering women to be strong leaders!
In the morning, ten 5th grade girls, selected by teachers, participated in a leadership workshop here at PGJH. The morning was complete with games, activities, and a chance to define what leaders think, say, act, and are.
In the afternoon, Mrs. Master and Ms. Cotton took the entire group of 8th grade girls to Prairie Ridge for an opportunity to participate in a leadership workshop focused on respect, lifting each other up, integrity, and empowerment. In addition, they had a chance to see where they will be at next year and connect with other students that they will learn and grow with!
We are so grateful to PR's Women Who Lead program for this amazing opportunity. We can't wait for next year!
