FACS II is in their final weeks of trimester 1 where they created their own food trucks. It is now time to make one of their menu items. This week was from the truck “Five Tacos” with their Elotes - Mexican Street Corn. A student shared their family recipe with the class and it was a HUGE hit!

Architectural Drafting 2 students did an amazing job on their wall dwelling team build. They combined elements from each others original design and small models to create this larger model.
Another successful week at JH Art Club. Students enjoyed working on their mosaics, 4 x 6 show for Prairie Ridge, and open studio time.

Cross Country competed in Sectionals on Saturday! Congratulations to Emily finishing 1st PLACE!!! Steven finished in 8th PLACE! Both Emily and Steven are headed to STATE on 10/16 in Normal, IL! Both Boys and Girls Teams finished 10th! We are so proud of you Panthers!!

Mrs. Bellavia’s 6th grade STEM class completed a project where they made a repurposed item from otherwise garbage/recyclable items. This was a part of their unit where they learn about integrated waste management.
